This section describes the simple maintenance procedures you should follow to clean the lter and replace the lamp.
Cleaning or Replacing the Filter
The air-lter sponge keeps dust and dirt from getting inside the projector and should be frequently cleaned. If the
lter is dirty or clogged, your projector may overheat.
CAUTION
Turn off the projector, turn off the main power switch and unplug the projector before replacing the lter.
Only clean the outside of the lter cover with a vacuum cleaner.
Do not attempt to operate the projector without the lter cover.
NOTE:
[LV-7365]
When the projector reaches the usage time (500 hours at the factory) specified with [Filter message] from the menu, each
time you turn on the projector, the "Please clean the filter" message will be displayed ( page 51). When this message is dis-
played, clean the filters and reset the Filter counter ( page 55).
The "Please clean the filter" message will disappear when any button on the projector or the remote control is pressed.
[LV-7265/LV-7260/LV-X7]
When the Filter counter reaches 100 hours in [Usage time] of [Information] you can select from the menu, each time you turn
on the projector, the "Please clean the filter" message will be displayed. When this message is displayed, clean the filters and
reset the Filter counter ( page 55).
The "Please clean the filter" message will disappear when any button on the projector or the remote control is pressed.
