2. Insufficient Refrigerant Gas
Opening degree of indoor electronic expansion valve increases.
Any one of motorized valve is fully open.
Frequency becomes to
the minimum.
Opening degree of indoor electronic expansion valve increases.
Outdoor electronic expansion valve is opened fully, and frequency increases.
Discharge pipe or low-pressure stepping down control
Frequency becomes to the minimum.
Progress of gas shortage

High pressure
Low pressure
Frequency

Heating
Fan control will be executed for
maintaining high pressure with low
outdoor temperature cooling control
= Actually, hunting will be generated.
(Low pressure is
maintained constant.)
High pressure lowers due to
decreasing of compressor
capacity.
Low pressure rises due to
large opening degree of
indoor electronic
expansion valve, and
frequency increases a little
with capacity control.
Low pressure cannot be maintained
when frequency becomes the
minimum.
For maintaining of low pressure,
capacity control shall be conducted
resulting frequency lowering.
(High pressure is
maintained constant.)
For maintaining of low pressure,
capacity control shall be
conducted resulting frequency
lowering.
Frequency lowers due to
stepping down control.
