tion, including connection, programming, maintenan
ce and specifications. The Quick Reference
Guide (QRG) and other publications associated with this product are downloadable free of
charge from the website listed on the back cover of this manual.

Chapter 1, (this chapter) presents information about manual conventions, and an overview of
the reader, its features and operation.
Chapter 2, Setup presents information about unpacking, cable connection information and set-
ting up the reader.
Chapter 3, Configuratio
n Using Bar Codes provides instructions and bar code labels for cus-
tomizing your reader. There are different section

formatting, symbology-specific and model-specific features.
Chapter 4, Message Formatting gives background information and detailed instructions for
more complex programming options.
