1 Remove the back cover.
2 Remove the system-board shield.

Procedure
1 Disconnect the fan-power cable (FAN_SYS) from the system board.
2 Remove the fan-power cable (FAN_SYS) from the routing guides.
3 Remove the three screws (M3x5) that secure the fan to the middle frame.
