Adjusting the Current Channel
Level
You can adjust the current channel levels as desired. These
adjusted levels are just memorized into user’s memory
(“REFERENCE 1”).
After adjusting each channel level with test tone, adjust the
channel levels either according to the program sources or to suit
your tastes. (For details, refer to “Adjusting Each Channel Level
with Test Tone” on page 28.)
Memorizing the Adjusted Channel
Levels
Youcanmemorizetheadjustedchannellevelsintopresetmemory
(“REFERENCE 1”, “REFERENCE 2”) and recall the memorized
whenever you want.
Select the Channel Level
This selects the memorized channel level.
q Press [CH SELECT].
w Press o p to select the mode (“REFERENCE 1” or “REFERENCE
2”).
e After selecting the mode, press [CH SELECT] once again.
The display returns to normal.
w
Press o p to adjust the level of the selected channel or program
source’s LFE as desired.

b In general, we recommend the LFE level to be adjusted to 0
dB. (However, the recommended LFE level for some early DTS

e Repeat the above steps 1 and 2 to adjust each channel level.
q Press ui to select the desired channel.
The speaker that can be set switches each time one of the
buttons is pressed.
