Do not wipe the
feed rollers
and the
belt
with anything other than that specifi ed
above. Use of anything else may result in
mechanical malfunction.
IMPORTANT
Cleaning the Feed Rollers
Touch the
cleaning mode
icon.
Every time the
top cover
is opened/closed, the
feed rollers
and the
belt
turn.
Wipe off the toner and debris on the
feed rollers
using a tightly wrung cloth opening/closing the
top cover
.
After cleaning the
feed rollers
and the
belt
, touch
the
return
icon to return to the
standby
screen.
WARNING
● Do not put your hands or fi ngers in the feeding part when cleaning. Your hands or
fi ngers may be caught and injured.
As the DC-516 processes digital color outputs, toner on the documents may adhere to the
surface of the
feed rollers
of the DC-516. Accumulation of toner may affect the performance of
the DC-516. In this case, clean the
feed rollers
according to the following procedures.
Turn on the power.
Make sure that the
standby
screen is displayed
on the
touch panel
