How to Use the Gauge
Ex). When making margins 20 mm wide.
Set the scale of the
gauge
to 70.0 mm.
Adjust the scale to the dimension between slits to be
made.
When adjusting margins, set the scale to “margin
dimension +50 mm”.
Divisions can be adjusted by 0.05 mm.
One division is 0.05 mm.
Read the division of the vernier when the vernier and
the main scale are aligned in a straight line. The right
fi gure shows that the
gauge
is set to 70.25 mm.
