4. Remove the discharge tube from the top housing.
5. Remove the cable clips that hold the Equalizer tube and power cable together and
separate the two.
6. Remove the EQD assembly as described in Chapter 6 – EQD and pull the Equalizer
tube and power cable through the top housing.
D-Series Top Housing Reassembly and Installation
1. Remove the power cable and Equalizer tube grommets from the top housing. Push a
sh tape, rope or solid wire through the hole.
2. Attach the power cable (EQD end) to the guide wire with tape. Pull the cable through
the top housing. Repeat for the Equalizer tube.
3. Using soapy water as a lubricant, slide the grommets back onto the power cable and
Equalizer tube.
