Chapter 1 — Introduction
This manual contains information about servicing, rebuilding and troubleshooting E/One
Extreme Series grinder pumps. A thorough understanding of these products will save valuable
time when troubleshooting and repairing E/One grinder pumps.
About E/One Model Names
This manual contains information specic to the hardwired model. The ag tag on the pump
cable will include “H” for hardwired pumps or “R” for wireless pumps. For manuals for wireless
(DR and WR) pumps or explosionproof (DX and WX) pumps, contact your local distributor or
E/One Field Service at 518.346.6161 or ssbeldservice@eone.com.
Each station name is made up several identiers. For example, the model DH272:
D: D-Series (stations that feature a drywell, or dry accessway)
H: Hardwired level control connection
27: Refers to the number of gallons of capacity; the rst two numbers are used
2: Number of pumps installed
