REMOTE ACCESS
Manage your HPAC 2.0 even away from home. By default, the app will only work where it can access the network
created by the HPAC 2.0. However, you can use the app anywhere by enabling remote access.
There are no special configurations required on the router in order for remote access to work. However, the Wi-Fi
network must have the following features:
z 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
z Working Internet connection
z DHCP service
If there is no DHCP you can assign the information manually on the advanced menu:
z Local IP address to be assigned to the subnet mask card
z Gateway
z DNS
Note: If the router or other devices in the network have ACLs at the MAC-address level, the MAC-address of the
card must be enabled if the client wants to control some features locally (no change, advanced settings change, PC
control.) The Wi-Fi network must allow communication between devices connected to the same Wi-Fi (= Wi-Fi Isolation
must not be enabled).
