Turning the Camera on and Off
To turn the camera on, rotate the zoom ring as
shown.
Rotate the zoom ring to OFF to turn the camera
off.
b Switching to Playback Mode
Press the a button to start playback. Press a button
again or press the shutter button halfway to return to
shooting mode.

If the zoom ring is not fully rotated to OFF, the battery
will drain.
Pictures can be affected by fingerprints and other
marks on the lens. Keep the lens clean.
Turning the Camera on in Playback Mode
To turn the camera on and begin playback, press the
a button for about a second.
Press the a button again to turn the camera off.

The camera does not exit to shooting mode when
pressing the shutter button.
