6.3 Redundant power supply
6.3.1 Installing a hot-plug PSU
Customer Replaceable
Unit (CRU)
Hardware: 5 minutes
Tools: tool-less
A second PSU of the same type as the already existing PSU can be
installed while the system is in operation. When the PSU is plugged in, a
CSS error is generated, as an information, and will be cleared as soon
as the power cord is connected. The system is automatically configured
as a system with redundant power supply.
