5.14 POSITION ERROR Menu
The POSITION ERROR menu contains parameters for monitoring and managing a following error by the slave
shaft with respect to the master.
The position error control diagram is shown in the chapter “CONTROL DIAGRAMS” Figure 37. Position error.
The system generates a Warning signal and then an Alarm if the error exceeds the user-programmable
thresholds.
When a Warning is generated, a signal is given but the drive maintains its operating state.
If an Alarm trips, a signal is given and the drive is immediately disabled. The signal persists as long as the Els
Engage mon command remains On.
To restart the system, the alarm must be reset (after the Els Engage command is removed).
