heater. Keep all such liquids well away from the heater while
it is in use.
Installationandrepairofthisstoveshouldbedonebya
competentandqualiedprofessional.Werecommend
that the stove be inspected before use and at least
annuallybyaqualiedserviceperson.Periodiccleaning
is required throughout the heating season and at the end
ofeachwinterforthestovetoworkefciently.

Special Warnings and Notes
Carbon monoxide, referred to as CO, is a colorless,
odorless gas that is produced during combustion of solid
fuels. COistoxicandcanbefatal.
Even though this stove is designed to be as safe as
possible, it is recommended that you install a CO detector.
This is true for oil, gas, or wood burning products as well.
COisnotspecicallyheavierorlighterthanair.Therefore,
it is best to install the detector at table top level rather than
ontheceilinglikeasmokedetector.
COdetectorsareverysensitiveandmaysoundanalarm
forfumesotherthanCOorCOfromsourcesotherthan
thestovesuchasacarorlawnmowerexhaust.
Ifthealarmsounds
1. Increase house ventilation by opening windows or doors.
2.Makesurethestovedoorsandhopperlidareclosed
and latched.
3.Checkstoveforelectricalpowerandnormaloperation.
4.Checkventforpossibleblockageordown-draft.
5.Checkforfalsealarm.
