Project planning information
5 Project planning information
On slow opening valves without
start rate or pneumatically oper-
ated valves, the test volume can be
supplied or discharged via auxiliary
valves, if discharge into the furnace
chamber is impossible for process
reasons.
5.1 Selecting the auxiliary
valves
Example:
V
P
= 32.45 l (8.44 gal),
p
u
= 50 mbar (19.5 "WC).
Selecting auxiliary valve V1:
selected ⇒ VAS 110.
The valve is sufficiently large to vent
the pipe between the valves.
