Delayed fax
You can set your machine to sencl a fax any time in the next 24 hours For example, it is
usually cheaper to send a fax at night because telephone rates are lower than they are
during the day, To cancel a scheduled fax, see Tocancel the scheduledjob on page 46.
1. Turn the document face down and feed it into the machine°
2. PressMenu repeatedly until ADVANCED_'AX appears and press Start/Enter,
3. Select Set Delayed Fax by pressing 4 I, and press Start/Enter_
4. Enter the fax number.
• You can press Speed Dial and enter a speed dial code.
TIP: One touch buttons do not work in this area, you must use their speed dial code
instead°
. You can enter 15 or 20 (depending on model) fax numbers intoone job.
5. PressStart/Enter when the number appears in the display_
. If you have more destinations, select Y by using 4 1' and press Start/Enter when
asked Another? Y/N and repeat steps from 4o
° If you have finished entering all the numbers, answer _,_and press Start/Enter,
6o Enter the name if you want to name the transmission_
If not, skip thisstep.
7. PressStart/Enters,
8. Enter the time (in the ne_ 24 hours)for the transmissionto start.
9. PressStart/Enter when the time appears correctly in thedisplay.
The document will be scanned into memory before transmissionand be sent at the
programmed time°
