Reprinting taxes
You may sometimes need to reprint a received fax Your machine storesthe most recently
received taxes in memory (approximately 100 pages) As this memory is filled, old taxes
that have been printed will be erased to make room for new taxes
NOTE: HP 1040 Fax: Unplugging the fax machine power cord and plugging it back in
again clears the memory including all unprinted or unsent taxes A power outage also
clears the fax machine memory
NOTE: HP 1050 Fax: The device has 30 minutes of backup memory If the power is off
longer than that, the taxes wil! be cleared
1. PressRepo_/Help,_
2o Press 4 _ to choose Print Fax and press S_r_/Enter,_
• If there are only old taxes, the machine will automatically print all of them and
return to Ready mode without moving to the next step
• If there are no taxes in memory, the machine will inform you by displaying Memory
Empty_
• If there are both old taxes and unprintedtaxes in memory, the machine win go to
step 3
3 Select between Print _ew _ax or Reprint Old Fax and press Start/Entero
- Print New Fax: The machine prints all new taxes which have never been printed
" Reprint Old Fax: The machine prints all taxes regardless of new or old
