up sel f ·c heck, and refer to Sect io n VIII, T roubleshooti n g. Power·up self·check is initiated when
the POWER switch is placed from ST8Y to ON.

I CAUTION I
Make sure that o nly fuses with the required rated t"urrent and
of the slow-blow type are used for replat"ement. The use of re-
paired fuses and the short-circuiting of fuse-holders must be
avoi ded .

POWER IS ALWAYS PRESENT AT THE LINE SWITCH AND
TRANSFORMER, AND UNREGULATED DC IS PRESENT WHEN·
EVER THE LINE CORD IS ATTACHED. UNPLUGGING THE
POWER CORD IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE ALL POWER FROM
THE INSTRUMENT.
