5-15. INPUT OFFSET ADJUSTMENTS
5- 16 . T he input offset adjustments are made to th e A4 assembly as follows:
a. Connect an oscilloscope to Pin 5 of A4P 1.
b. Us ing a SOO feed th rough, connect a 10 MHz s in e wave to Channel A in put BNC.
c. Adj ust oscilloscope for sta ble display and th en decrease ampli tude of 10 M Hz si ne wave
to the minimum all owable (typically 10 mV rms) to maint ain di sp l ay.
d. A dju st A4R32 for 50-50 duty cycle of the oscillos co pe display.
e. Reco nn ect oscilloscope to Pin 6 of Pl and 10 MHz sine wave to Channel B input BNC.

g. Adjust A4R l fo r 50-50 duty cycle of the osc ill oscope display.

5-18. Every few months, the reference oscilla tor sho ul d be checked to a known or house fre-
quen cy sta ndard. Whe n adjustment is requir ed, use th e fo ll owi ng method :
a. Co nn ect a known reference freque ncy (~ 1 M Hz) to Chan nel A input . See Table 1-1

Press fun c tion key GATE TI ME and insure the Blue Shift key is in the IN position.

e. Ad ju st A1C 12 for the most accurate display of the reference fre quen cy.
