6. Disconnect the hinge assembly cable (1) from the audio/USB board.
7. Remove the audio/USB board (2) and cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the audio/USB board.

NOTE: The power connector board does not include the power connector board cable. The power
connector board cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number 736883-001. See
Cable Kit
on page 21 for more Cable Kit spare part information.

Before removing the power connector board, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the tablet and keyboard base. If you are unsure whether the tablet and keyboard base are
off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the tablet and keyboard base by unplugging the power cord from the
tablet and keyboard base.
3. Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base.
4. Remove the bottom cover (see
Bottom cover on page 63).
5. Remove the keyboard base battery (see
Keyboard base battery on page 65).
