connector cable, or screws)
NOTE: The hard drive bracket, hard drive connector cable, and screws are included in the Hard
Drive Hardware Kit, spare part number 736884-001.

Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the tablet and keyboard base. If you are unsure whether the tablet and keyboard base are
off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the tablet and keyboard base by unplugging the power cord from the
tablet and keyboard base.
3. Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base.
4. Remove the bottom cover (see
Bottom cover on page 63).
5. Remove the keyboard base battery (see
Keyboard base battery on page 65).
6. Remove the power connector board (see
Power connector board on page 69).
Remove the hard drive:
1. Release the grounding tape (1) that secures the hard drive to the keyboard/top cover.
2. Remove the four Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (2) that secure the hard drive to the keyboard/
top cover.
