2.1 Exporting Configuration Data
This section describes the steps for exporting configuration data.
Context
The configuration data includes the information about RAID groups, mapping configuration of
LUNs, disks, IP addresses of the iSCSI host ports, and rate of the FC host ports.
Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the ISM.
CAUTION
l The file type exported from the configuration data is *.DAT. Do not change the contents of
the configuration file.
l Do not perform other operations during the process of exporting configuration data.
Step 2 In the navigation tree, click the storage array whose configuration data is to be exported.
Step 3 You can go to the Export Configuration Data dialog box by any one of the following
approaches:
l On the menu bar, choose Configuration > Export > Configuration Data.
l Right-click the mouse. On the displayed shortcut menu, choose Export > Configuration
Data.
The Export Configuration Data dialog box is displayed, as shown in Figure 2-1 .
