Exception Handling
l If the running status of the UPS is Offline, see the “0x2003017D3 UPS is offline”in the
OceanStor S2600 Storage System Event Reference.
l If the running status of the UPS is Faulty, power on the UPS and check the status again.
l If the health status of the UPS is Degraded, see the relevant alarm and remove the fault
according to the troubleshooting suggestions under the alarm.
l If the health status of the UPS is Faulty, see the relevant alarm and remove the fault
according to the troubleshooting suggestions under the alarm.
l If a new alarm related to the UPS is displayed on the alarm interface, click the alarm and
remove the fault according to the troubleshooting suggestions under the alarm.
If the fault persists, contact technical support engineers.
4.5 Checking the Status of the Disk
This section describes how to check the disk through the ISM.
Reference Standard
l No new alarms related to the disk are displayed on the alarm interface.
l The health status of the disk is Normal and the running status is Online.
Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the ISM.
Step 2 In the navigation tree, click the Physical tab.
Step 3 In the Physical tab, expand the nodes and click Controller Enclosure xx or Disk Enclosure
xx (xx indicates the controller enclosure ID or disk enclosure ID).
Step 4 In the operation area, click the Device Figure tab.
Step 5 Click the disk icon or right-click the disk icon. On the displayed shortcut menu, choose
Properties, and then the Disk Properties dialog box is displayed.
Step 6 The parameters of viewing disk information are described, as shown in Table 4-5.

Parameter
Description
Location The parameter indicates the position of the disk in the enclosure. Take
(01,02) as an example. 01 indicates the ID of the enclosure where the disk
is located. 02 indicates the ID of the slot where the disk is inserted.
From left to right and from top to bottom, the 12 slots in the controller
enclosure and the disk enclosure are numbered from 0 to 11. The slot on the
left up side of the disk enclosure is numbered 0.
