Reference Standard
The checking items mainly include the layout of the power cables and the pasting of the service
cable labels. The specific checking items are shown in Table 3-2.

should be respectively laid from the two sides of the
cabinet. That means the separation of the service cables and
power cables.

cables
Keep them orderly and neat. Be consistent with the layout

4 Labeling and pasting
of cables
The handwriting on the labels is clear and the contents are
accurate. Labels are firmly pasted on cables.
5 Free slots The free slots must be covered by filler panels to ensure the
heat dissipation of the device and the neat appearance.
6 Connector of the
power cables
The power cables are firmly inserted into the power
sockets.
7 Connector of the
signal cables
The cables of the device are firmly connected.
8 Grounding cables The grounding cables of the disk enclosure are connected
to the grounding clips of the disk enclosure and the
grounding connectors of the cabinet, and the screws of the
clips are fastened.
9 Power cables The power cables are connected to the power supply of the
disk enclosure in redundancy mode (two groups of cables).
10 Service network port
connection
The service network cables are normally connected to the
service network port and the host port or the switch.
11 Serial port
connection
The serial port cannot be connected to the network switch.
Procedure
