l Check that the handwriting on the labels is clear and the contents are accurate, and labels
are firmly pasted on cables.
l Check that the cable labels.
l Check that the free slots are covered by filler panels.
l Check that the power cables are firmly inserted into the power socket.
l Check that the cables of the device are firmly connected.
l Check that the grounding cables of the disk enclosure are connected to the grounding clips
of the disk enclosure and the grounding connectors of the cabinet, and the screws of the
clips are fastened.
l Check that the power cables are connected to the power supply of the disk enclosure in
redundancy mode (two groups of cables).
l Check that the service network cables are normally connected to the service network port
and the host port or the switch.
l Check that the serial port is not connected to the network switch.

remarks.
3.3 Checking the Status of the S2600 Controller Enclosure
Indicators
This section describes the different status of the S2600 controller enclosure indicators.
Reference Standard
The S2600 controller enclosure indicators are divided into the indicators on the front panel and
the indicators on the rear panel. You can primarily check the current working status of the S2600
controller enclosure by observing the indicators. The indicators on the front panel of the S2600
controller enclosure are shown in Table 3-3.
