If the charging current or charging voltage are
exceeded, the battery will be destroyed.
If the battery is left in a discharged state
for an extended period, it will become
over-discharged and sulfated, destroying the
battery.
The battery is maintenance-free.

15.4 Changing the main fuse
Warning
Fire hazard Incorrect fuses overload the electrical system.
– Only use fuses with the required ampere value.
– Do not bypass or repair fuses.

The main fuse protects all power consumers of the vehicle.
Preparatory work
– Turn the key in the ignition lock to the position while the
engine is idling.
