ALE Set mode
LQA Decay
(Default: 15 days)
Set the LQA decay for the Auto Sounding function to
between 1 and 30 days, or Disable.
BER Threshold
(Default: 12)
Set the Bit Error Ratio (BER) threshold level to be-
tween 0 and 48 bits to determine the acceptable level
of error data in the received 48 bit ALE word.
When this setting is “12,” the transceiver accepts 12
or less bits of error data.
We recommend that you do not to change this setting.
Golay Threshold
(Default: 2)
Set the Golay threshold level to between 0 and 3 bits
to determine the acceptable level of ALE word cor-
rection data when it is decrypted to the Golay code.
When this setting is “2,” the transceiver accepts 2 or
less bits of correction data.
We recommend that you do not to change this setting.
Error Threshold
(Default: 0)
Set the Error threshold level to between 0 and 4 for
ALE communication quality.
When errors detected by BER threshold or Golay
threshold are over this setting, communication is not
possible.
Silent
(Default: OFF)
Set the ALE Silent mode to ON or OFF.
When set to OFF, the transceiver automatically an-
swers back if your station ID is called. When set to
ON, the transceiver ignores the call.
Call Retry
(Default: 1)
Set the retry times to between 0 (OFF) and 10 when
the called station does not answer back.
