DOOR FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS ON THE CENTER DISPLAY AND
TOUCHSCREEN
Many features related to your Grenadier’s doors can be
customized through the Central Display. Select your Grenadier
FUNCTIONS menu of the SETTINGS tab to access these settings:
Central Locking System: The Central Locking System
provides the
convenience of locking or unlocking all
doors of your Grenadier with a single action, using either
the key or, the interior locking button.
Drive Away Locking: For enhanced security, the Drive
Away Locking
feature automatically locks all doors when
your Grenadier reaches a predetermined speed.
Leaving Home Light Timeout: When you unlock your
Grenadier, the
Leaving Home Light Timeout feature
illuminates the headlights for a predetermined duration
to illuminate surroundings.
Remote Lock Feedback: This feature provides a sound
and a
visual signal when locking your Grenadier using
the remote.
Follow Me Home: Activate the Follow Me Home feature
to keep
the headlights on for a set period after turning
o the ignition. This illuminates the area covered by the
headlights.
DOOR WARNINGS
WARNING: Make sure all doors are fully latched and
locked before driving.
WARNING: The Central Locking System is not a child lock.
WARNING: Unless the Child Lock is activated, the rear
side doors
can be unlocked and opened by pulling on
the handle.
WARNING: The front side doors can always be unlocked
by pulling on the interior handle.
WARNING: Do not stand on or hang objects from the
door latch
strikers, including the rear 30/70 door. The
latch striker is not a step. You could be injured if you slip
or fall.
WARNING: Do not allow anyone to use the roof Access
Ladder (if
equipped) (e.g., climbing on it, standing on it,
hanging on it, hanging anything on it) while either of the
rear doors is unlatched.
WARNING: Doors may be impossible to open when
obstructed by
water. If you need to exit a vehicle in an
emergency and a door won’t open, try another door or
exit through a window opening.
