WINDOWS
Introduction
In addition to
the windshield, there are windows in each door.
Your Grenadier may have been ordered with the option of
additional Safari windows in the roof over each front seat.
Windshield
A clear, high-quality windshield is essential to safe driving.
Your ADAS functions (see Driving On Road) require that the
camera have a clear view out of the windshield.
If your windshield must be replaced, replace it with a genuine
INEOS replacement part. Aftermarket windshields may not be of
sucient quality. Make sure that the ADAS camera is recalibrated.
Side Windows
Each side door has a movable side window. Each is moved by an
electric motor. The motor for each is controlled by a toggle switch
on the inside of each door. The driver door has switches for each
door’s window.
The ignition must be in ACC (Accessory) or ON for the windows to
operate. Once the
ignition is turned to OFF, the window motors
can be activated for 60 seconds or until a door is opened,
whichever happens rst.
All windows have a one-touch down feature,. To use, press the
switch all the way down (past the click), to cancel pull up the
switch again, briey.
WARNING:
There is no means of locking windows. Any
occupant who can
reach a window switch can
operate a window.
The child door locks do not deactivate the rear
window switches.
There is no anti-pinch or automatic reverse
feature on any
of the windows, including the
rear windows. It will keep moving and applying
pressure even if an object or body part (e.g.,
nger, hand, head, neck) is in the way. Be sure
that the window opening is clear before rolling
up any window. Never allow children to remain
in your Grenadier unattended with the ignition
in ACC (Accessory) or ON. Always supervise
children’s use of the rear windows.
Keep objects and body parts inside your
Grenadier, not sticking
outside a side window,
while your Grenadier is being driven.
