GENERAL WARNINGS
These warnings
apply generally to any use of your Grenadier.
Failure to heed these may result in serious injury and death.
WARNING:
Obey the law.Everyone
using
your Grenadier
must comply with all local laws and regulations
at all times. They are there for your safety and
the safety of others.
Prevent driver inattention and impairment.
Distracted
driving
(e.g., using a hand-held
phone, texting, checking emails, adjusting
settings on the Touchscreen) and driving while
impaired (e.g., fatigued, drowsy, under the
inuence of alcohol or drugs) are leading
causes of collisions, injury and death, Even a
momentary distraction can have disastrous
consequences. The driver must pay attention to
driving at all times.
Occupants must ride in seats. Every
rider must
be in a designated seating position in one of
the two rows of seats. No one must ride in
another location. Whenever possible, children
must be placed in one of the second row
seating positions, never the front passenger
seat.
Do not leave people or pets unattended in your
Grenadier, particularly
in warm or cold
weather. Vehicles can quickly get very hot and
very cold. Even if the outside temperature is in
the 70s and the windows are cracked, the
temperature in a vehicle can rapidly reach
deadly levels. A child’s body temperature rises
three to ve times faster than an adult’s.
According to the US Government, a child dies of
heat stroke in a hot car every 10 days on
average. Never leave a child, a pet, or an older
person in a vehicle unattended for any length
of time. Rolling windows down or parking in the
shade does little to change the interior
temperature of the vehicle. Make it a habit to
check your entire vehicle — especially the back
seat — before locking the doors and walking
away. Failure to follow these precautions can
result in serious injury and death.
Do not leave children unattended with the keys.
Children can
lock themselves in a hot car. They
can turn a vehicle on. They can shift it out of
gear. They can release the brake. Leaving
children unattended with the keys, even for
seconds, can lead to serious injury and death.
Obey the instructions, precautions and
warnings throughout
this manual. Obeying the
warnings, instructions and precautions reduces
the risk of serious injury and death, to you and
those around you.
