Inserting Interface Modules
To insert an interface module into a module bay, perform the following steps:
1. Align the side edges of the interface module card with the grooves in the side
walls of the bay.

2. Push the interface module completely into the bay.
WARNING: When inserting or removing interface modules, be sure that the power
is off. Interface modules are not hot swappable.
Positioning Groove
Align the side edges of the interface module card with
the positioning grooves and then slide it into position.
WARNING: When inserting and removing interface modules in bays 2 and 4, take
care that the electromagnetic interference (EMI) fingers along the top edge of the
front wall of the interface modules do not catch on the lower edge of the modules
above them in bays 1 and 3.
