REMARK
Select the way of steering the machine according to the
stop position of dump truck and the state of the muck.
Determine the stop position of the dump truck so that the
required steering angle of the machine is 20 ° or less.
(1) Steer the machine gradually to the right or left.
(2) Steer the machine gradually to the muck.
(3) Drive the machine straight to the muck.

When driving the machine in reverse, do not raise the
bucket excessively.
Determine the bucket height by considering the dump
truck position, condition of the ground surface, travel
speed, and work equipment speed. Do not raise the top
end of load in the bucket above your horizontal sight at the
operator's seat.

WARNING
Do not steer the machine sharply while the bucket is rising.
If you steer the machine while the bucket is rising, the machine may tip over and cause serious person-
al injury or death.
NOTICE
• Do not perform the travel direction switching operation while depressing the accelerator pedal
(while the engine is running at high speed).
If you perform the travel direction switching operation while the engine is running at high speed, a
large load is applied to the whole power train of the engine, torque converter, transmission, axle,
and final drive, and this may cause damages to the power train. Also, the tires slip and it may cause
the wear of tires.
• Do not steer immediately after the directional selection (stationary steering). If you perform the
steering operation (stationary steering), it may cause the wear and cut of tires
