• Do not perform the gear shift operation while depressing the accelerator pedal (while the engine is
running at high speed).
If you perform the gear shift while the engine is running at high speed, a large load is applied to the
whole power train of the engine, torque converter, transmission, axle, and final drive, and this may
cause damages to the power train. Such practice can make the tires slip, causing wear of tires.
• Do not steer the machine (stationary steering) immediately after the directional selection. If you per-
form the steering operation (stationary steering), it may cause the wear and cut of tires

Shift the gear to REVERSE 2nd and drive the machine in
reverse.

While driving the machine in reverse, lower the boom and
steer the machine so that it comes right in front of the
scooping position.

Depress brake pedal to stop the machine.
4.
Release the accelerator pedal to decrease the engine
speed, then shift the gear from REVERSE 2nd to FOR-
WARD 2nd.
5.
Lower the bucket to the ground and drive the machine for-
ward to level the road surface (removal of large boulders).
In the leveling work, drive the machine straight forward without steering the machine.

This machine has the functions of the remote bucket positioner and the remote boom positioner.
