METHOD FOR LUBRICATING DRIVE SHAFT
NOTICE
Neglecting the greasing to the drive shaft may lead to breakage of the shaft, and the runout of the shaft
leads to a serious damage to the machine.
Observe the specified lubrication interval.
Use the special grease for drive shaft, and perform greasing every 4000 hours or every 2 years, whichever
comes sooner.
If the special grease is not used but common lithium base grease is used, perform greasing every 1000 hours
after then.
Part No. of special grease for drive shaft: “56B-20-19910”
1.
By using a grease pump, pump in grease through the grease fitting shown by arrow.
Grease the spider part until grease comes out from the cap seal.
2.
After greasing, wipe off any old grease that is pushed out.
