8.5 Raising machine from working position to transport position
Actuate the control unitfor the front hydraulics until the mower is lifted into the transport
position.
8.6 Mowing
Preparing to mow
ü The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page24.
ü All points listed in the chapter "Start-up" have been fulfilled, refer to page38.
ü The stop cock for the front hydraulics of the tractor is open.
ü The machine is in working position, refer to page48.
ü The safety devices have been folded down, refer to page47.
Before driving into the crop, engage the tractor PTO shaft in neutral gear and slowly
increase the speed to the rated speed of the machine.
Mowing
Drive into the crops.
Check the ground pressure during mowing, refer to page56.
To ensure a clean cutting pattern, adjust the driving and cutting speeds to the prevailing
conditions (soil condition, state of the crop, height, density).
INFORMATION
Leave the control unit for front hydraulics in the float position during mowing.
