Warning
Danger of accidents Reduced braking efficiency due to oil or grease on the
brake discs.
– Always keep the brake discs free of oil and grease, and clean them with
brake cleaner when necessary.
– Clean and oil the dust boots and inner fork tube of both fork legs.
Universal oil spray ( p. 85)
– Press the dust boots back into their normal position.
– Remove excess oil.
– Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 27)

– Remove screws and take off clamp.
– Remove screws and take off brake caliper.
– Hang the brake caliper and the brake line loosely to the side.

– Loosen screw . Remove the left fork leg.
– Loosen screw . Remove the right fork leg.

– Following modifications, ride slowly at first to get the feel of the new ride behavior.
