» If the chain tension does not meet specifications:
Adjust the chain tension when installing the rear wheel. ( p. 45)
10.38Adjusting chain tension - after checking

Loosen nut .
Loosen nuts .
Adjust the chain tension by turning the adjusting screws left and right.
Guideline
Chain tension 5… 8 mm (0.2… 0.31 in)
Turn the left and right adjusting screws so that the distance of the chain
adjuster to the link fork on the left and right is equal and the rear wheel is in line
with the front wheel.
Tighten nuts .
Make sure that the chain adjusters are fitted correctly on the adjusting
screws .
Tighten nut .
Guideline
Nut, rear wheel spindle M12x1 40 Nm
(29.5 lbf ft)

Adjust the chain tension by turning the adjusting screws left and right.

The size of the chain wheel varies with the number of teeth. The chain guide can be adjusted on small sprockets.
Remove the chain guard. ( p. 40)

Loosen screw .
Position the chain guide.
Tighten screw.
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
Install the chain guard. ( p. 40)
