10.8Installing the fork protector x
700432-10
– Position the fork protection on the right fork leg. Mount and tighten screws .
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)

– Position the fork protection on the left fork leg. Mount and tighten screws .
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
– Position the brake line. Mount clamp .
– Mount the screws .
10.9Removing the lower triple clamp x
–
Remove the fork legs. x ( p. 28)
– Dismount the start number plate. ( p. 34)
– Dismount the front fender. ( p. 35)

– Remove fuel tank breather .
– Remove screw . Remove screw , take off top triple clamp with the handlebar
and place it on one side.
Info
Protect the motorcycle and its attachments from damage by covering them.
Do not bend the cables and lines.

– Remove protector ring .
– Remove the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
– Remove the upper steering head bearing.
