10.10Installing the lower triple clamp x

– Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage, and grease.
High viscosity grease ( p. 84)
– Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount the upper steering head
bearing.
– Check whether the top steering head seal is correctly positioned.
– Push on protective ring .

– Position the upper triple clamp with the steering.
– Mount screw but do not tighten yet.

– Position the fork legs.

Position the bleeder screw to the front.

Warning
Danger of accidents Modifications to the suspension settings can seriously
alter the vehicle's ride behavior.
– Following modifications, ride slowly at first to get the feel of the new
ride behavior.
– Adjust the fork overhang.

outer tube

The setting of the vehicle level via the fork legs must be identical on both
fork legs.
