Lifetime and Exchange Method of
the Capillary Tube Protective Packing
The rotor is equipped with a capillary tube protective packing to prevent occurrence of
damage of the capillary tube while the centrifugal operations are being carried out.
Thecapillarytubeprotectivepackingisaconsumablepart.Replaceitin3years,
approximately.
However,ifthecapillarytubeprotectivepackingiscrackedordeteriorated,breakageof
thecapillarytubecanoccurmoreeasily.Therefore,ifthecapillarytubeprotective
packingiscrackedordeteriorated,replacethecapillarytubeprotectivepackingregardless
oftheaforementionedreplacementinterval.
The exchange method of the capillary tube protective packing
(1)Removetheoldcapillarytubeprotectivepacking.
(2)Installthecapillarytubeprotectivepackingtotherotor.

①Wheninstallingthecapillarytubeprotectivepacking,bringthejointofthecapillarytube
protectivepackingtoapointbetweenarotorgrooveandthenextrotorgroove.
②Wheninstallingthecapillarytubeprotectivepacking,setitevenlyalongtheinner
peripheryoftherotor,payingattentionnottoletthecapillarytubeprotectivepacking
wrinkled.
