Side Pulley and Blade Shaft
1. Unscrew the pulley mounting nut (2) and remove the pulley (1)
and feather key (3).
2. Unscrew the pulley holder mounting screws and remove the side
pulley holder (6) from the mower deck.
3. Remove the oil seal (4), (9) and internal snap ring (5), (8), and tap
out the blade shaft (10) with ball bearing (7), (12).
(When reassembling)
• Replace the oil seals (4) and (9) with new ones.
NOTE
■
• Be sure to install the shim (11).
