3 System Description
High fire acknowledgement If this signal is absent, the burner sequencer stops at
high fire. The pre-purge time does not count down.
This signal can be used as a condition for pre-purg-
ing.
Ignition position acknowledge-
ment
If this signal is absent, the burner sequencer stops at
the ignition position. Ignition does not start.
This signal can be used as a condition for ignition.
Also called 'ignition hold'
Fault reset This signal resets faults in the CMS.
A fault reset can also be initiated via the HMIs (UI400
and GUI6xx) as well as via the bus interfaces.
In the case of a remote reset, the guidelines specified
in EN 1361 must be respected.
Pre-purge suppression If the signal is present during ’burner on’, CMS starts
without pre-purge.
Recirculation ON If this signal is absent, the recirculation channel
remains at the lower range limit in burner operation.
Cooling air operation
(in development)
The signal activates cooling operation after ’Burner
OFF’
Pilot flame The signal can be used if the main flame monitor does
not monitor the pilot flame.
Air pressure ignition air >min. Air pressure monitor for ignition air
Air pressure main air 2 > min.
Standby operation Signal to activate and deactivate standby operation,
see chapter 5.2.2 Standby Mode.
Flue gas damper OPEN
Recirculation gas pressure
monitor
Atomiser medium pressure
monitor
Burner ON This signal switches the burner on. Removing the sig-
nal switches the burner off.
Control release If the ’control release’ signal is absent, the control
system stays at low fire (LFH).
Burner OFF The signal switches the burner off or prevents the
burner starting up. It overrides the ’Burner ON’ signal.
CPI input This signal checks whether the valve is closed. A total
of 8 signals are possible:
CPI 1 for fuel trains 1 … 4
CPI 2 for fuel trains 1 … 4
Fuel safety interlock chain Signal to switch off in the event of absent fuel-relevant
monitoring signals.
4 Signals for the chains 1 ... 4 are possible.
Pressure between the valves
in the fuel train > min.
This signal monitors the minimum pressure between
the valves with active valve leakage testing.
4 Signals for the chains 1 ... 4 are possible.
Fuel pressure < max. This signal monitors the maximum pressure.
4 Signals for the chains 1 ... 4 are possible.
