Asanalternativetoshuttingdownthecomputer,youalsocanchoosetoputitintohibernationmode.

2.ClickthetrianglemarknexttotheShutdownbutton,andthenselectHibernation.
•Windows10:
1.Right-clickStarttoenterControlpanel,andthenclickHardwareandsound➙Changewhat
thepowerbuttonsdo.
2.ClickChangesettingsthatarecurrentlyunavailable,andthentickHibernateunderShutdown
settings.
3.ClickSavechanges.
4.ClickStart.
5.SelectHibernatefromthePowermenuoptions.
Note:Alluserandprogramdatainthememoryiscopiedontotheharddiskforyoutoresumeworkingwhen
thecomputeriswakenupfromhibernationmode.
Towakeupthecomputer,pressthepowerbutton.
Handlingthebattery
Thebatterypackisaconsumablesupply.Ifyourbatterybeginstodischargetooquickly,replacethebattery
packwithanewoneofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.Formoreinformationaboutreplacingthe
batterypack,contactyourCustomerSupportCenter.

Donotdrop,crush,puncture,orsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseormishandlingcancause
thebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorflameto“vent”fromthebatterypackorcoin
cell.Ifyourbatteryisdamaged,orifyounoticeanydischargefromyourbatteryorthebuildup
offoreignmaterialsonthebatteryleads,stopusingthebatteryandobtainareplacementfrom
thebatterymanufacturer.
