ximum response mes
For the calculaon of the response me to the request of a safety funcon, the overall system
must be taken into account:
R
esponse me of the connected safety sensors.
Input delay of the safety inputs.
Internal processing me.
Deceleraon mes, braking mes, and stopping mes from the parameterized safety
funcons.
When using a feedback system, the response me of encoder monitoring 0x2878:004
Safety bus:

Monitoring me for cyclic services.

Monitoring me in the safety PLC.

Processing me in the safety PLC
Delay mes due to further components.
The ETG FSoE protocol specic
aon contains formulas for calculang the maximum response
me in fault-free operaon and in the event of a fault.
In the "Applic
aon Knowledge Base", Lenze provides an Excel table as a
calculaon aid. This can be used to easily calculate the reacon mes.

for the c250-S safety controller than in the FSoE protocol specicaon of the ETG.
