11.2 Cleaning the leatherette upholstery
WARNING!
Risk of property damage caused by improper cleaning/disinfection!
► Always wipe and dry the leatherette upholstery before putting it back into service,
even if the cleaner instructions say that this is not required.
► Put the upholstery on dry bed areas only!
Parts of the leather upholstery
that need to be cleaned
Recommended Cleaning Agents (General cleaning)
Upholstery of the back and seat
section (including head rest),
upholstery of the foot section,
upholstery of the leg rests.
For general cleaning and superficial dirt, use a disposable
wipe with a solution of warm water and neutral detergent.
Do not use abrasive or phenolic-based cleaners.
Cleaning by neutral water and soap, followed by rinsing
with water, is sufficient to clean this product. Solvent
containing alcohol, bleaching or abrasive products can be
harmful.
Decontamination: Blood spills/Clostridium difficile
etc.

In order to preserve the life of leather upholstery, we recommend the following cleaning and
disinfection steps:
► Check the upholstery for any signs of damage.
► If the upholstery is damaged, replace it.
► Clean the upholstery with a soft cloth containing a solution of all-purpose neutral detergent in
warm water.
► Let the upholstery air dry or wipe it dry.
► Disinfect the upholstery with recommended disinfectant.
► Wipe the upholstery with a cloth soaked in cold water.
► Let the upholstery air dry or wipe it dry.
11.2.1 Recommended disinfection of leatherette upholstery
To disinfect the leatherette upholstery, the disinfectant listed in chapter "11.1.1 Recommended dis-
infection (disinfectants for wiping)" can be used.
11.3 Cleaning the DUOCOAT mattress set

► Put the mattress set on dry bed areas only
