Seat Adjustment
Adjust the operator’s seat correctly. Full foot pedal control
must be obtained with your back firmly against the seat back.
Seat Fore & Aft Adjustment - To adjust the seat, move the
control lever (5, Figure 3-14) to the right. Move the seat to
proper position and then move the control lever back to the
left to lock the seat position.
NOTE: The seat can be removed for cleaning and/or
maintenance by holding the control lever and
sliding the seat completely forward off the slider
tracks.
Seat Belt
The operator’s seat is equipped with a seat belt. Use this belt
at all times when operating the crane.
Cab Door (Enclosed Cab)
Opening the Cab Door from Outside
Pull the door handle out to release the cab door latch.
(Figure 3-17).
Opening the Door from Inside
Pull the door handle back to release the cab door latch
(Figure 3-18).
Locking the Cab Door
The cab door can be locked from the outside. Insert the key
and turn it to the left to lock the door. Turn the key to the right
to unlock the door. The door key number is stamped on the
lock if additional keys are required.
Opening Side Window
The left side window (if equipped) is opened by pulling on the
latch and sliding the window rearward.
Fire Extinguisher
The fire extinguisher is located in the cab and is attached to
the left and rear of the operator’s seat. Study the
manufacturer’s instructions printed on the fire extinguisher
for its proper use.
