You could lose control of the vehicle in the fol-

wing situations in particular:

if you adjust the driver's seat, the head
restraint, the steering wheel or the mirror
while the vehicle is in motion

if you fasten your seat belt while the vehi-
cle is in motion

Before starting the vehicle: in particular,
adjus
t the driver's seat, head restraint,
steering wheel and mirror, and fasten
your seat belt.
Ensure the following when adjusting steering
wheel 1, seat belt 2 and dr
iver's seat 3:

You are sitting as far away from the driver's
airbag as possible, taking the following points
into consideration:

You are sitting in an upright position
R
Your thighs are slightly supported by the seat
cushion
R
Y
our legs are not fully extended and you can
depress the pedals properly
R
The back of your head is supported at eye
level by the centre of the head restraint
R
You can hold the steering wheel with your
arms slightly bent
R
You can move your legs freely
R
You can see all the displays on the driver's dis-
play clearly
R
You have a good overview of the trac condi-
tions
R
Observe the notes on correctly fastening the
seatbelt (/ page 45).

handle or pull it abr
