When charging the high-voltage battery, keep a
dis
tance of at least an arm's length between the
medical aid and the following components:

the power supply equipment
This includes charging stations in the form of a
wallbox or a public charging point, for exam-
ple.

vehicle components carrying live voltage
This includes the charging cable and the
charging control box, for example.
Only have repairs and maintenance work in the
area of the following components carried out at a
qualied specialist workshop:

vehicle components carrying live voltage
R
transmission aerials
R
multimedia system and sound system
If you have any queries or suggestions, consult a
qualied specialist workshop.

QR code for rescue card
QR codes ar
e attached in the fuel ller ap and on
the opposite side on the B-pillar. In the event of
an accident, rescue services can use the QR code
to quickly nd the appropriate rescue card for
your vehicle. The current rescue card contains the
most important information about your vehicle
(e.g. the routing of the electric lines) in compact
form.

Electronic control units
Electr
onic control units are tted in your vehicle.
Control units process data which, forexample,
they receive from vehicle sensors, generate them-
selves or exchange between themselves. Some
control units are required for the safe operation of
your vehicle, some assist you when driving,
suchas driver assistance systems, while others
enable convenience or infotainment functions.
The following provides you with general informa-
tion regarding data processing in the vehicle.
Additional information regarding exactly which
data in your vehicle are collected, saved and
transmitted to third parties, and for what purpose,
can be found in the information directly related to
the functional characteristics in question in their
respective operating instructions. This information
is also available online and, depending on the
vehicle equipment, digitally.
