When thememoryfunction adjusts theseat
or steering wheel, youand other vehicle
occupants –particularly children –could
becometrapped.

During thesetting procedureofthe
memoryfunction, ensurethat no body
parts areinthe sweep of theseat or
thesteering wheel.

If somebody becomes trapped, immedi‐
atelyrelease thememoryfunction posi‐
tion button.
The adjustmentprocess is stopped.

vate thememoryfunction,particularly when
unattended.

The memoryfunction can be used when theigni‐
tion is switched off.
Storing
The memoryfunction is onlyavailable in vehicles
withthe memorypackage.
Seatadjustments foruptothree people can be
stored and called up using thememoryfunction.
The following settings can be stored forthe front
seats:

Seat, backrest, head restraint position and
contour of theseat backrestinthe lumbar
region

Activemulticontourseat: side bolsters of the
seat backrest, shoulderofthe seat backrest,
contour of theseat backrest, dynamic func‐
tion level

Seatheating: distribution of theheated sec‐
tionsofthe seat cushion and seat backrest
R
Driver's side: steering wheel position and
position of theoutside mirrors on thedriver's
and front passenger sides
