fied newfuses containingthe correct
amperage.

damaged by incorrect fuses, or their func‐
tionality maybesignificantly impaired.

Onlyuse fuses that have been approved
by Mercedes-Benzand whichhave the
correct fuserating.
Blownfuses must be replaced withfuses of the
same rating,which youcan recognize by the
colorand fuserating. Thefuseratings andfur‐
ther information to be observedcan be found in
thefuse assignmentdiagram.

by moisture
Moisturemay cause damage to theelectrical
system or cause it to malfunction.

When thefuse boxisopen, makesure
that no moisturecan enter thefuse
box.

When closing thefuse box, makesure
that theseal of thelid is positioned cor‐
rectly on thefuse box.
If thenewly insertedfuse also blows,have the
cause tracedand rectifiedataqualified special‐
istworkshop.
Ensurethe following beforereplacing afuse:
